What is Caledonian CacheFest

Caledonian CacheFest has been set up to organise, fund and run a Geocaching CacheFest weekend every few years in Scotland. We started in Peebles in 2017 and our next CacheFest is planned for May 2020. Its purpose is to host geocaching events, promote Scotland to the wider geocaching community, introduce the public to geocaching, highlight environmental awareness through geocaching events such as CITO (Cache In Trash Out), and raise the profile of our national history, geology, natural history and social awareness through geocaching. Our aim is to show that geocaching is not only a fun pastime for all but educational, available to everyone irrespective of means, ability or disability and good for your health.
